My name is Elaine Jett. I'm a retired trial attorney and have been buying, selling, renovating, renting and managing single family homes, condos and commercial property here in SW Florida for over a decade. I've worked extensively with vacation, retirement and investment properties and with short term and annual rentals. I'd be happy to put that experience at your service.

I began selling real estate after college in the lat 70's. The prevailing high interest rates and brutal market led me to choose a different career path: law school. After graduating from Vanderbilt University School of Law, I practiced general civil litigation in Nashville, Tennessee. For years, I also vacationed in SW Florida and came to love the natural beauty, lifestyle and pace of this stateside paradise. In the mid-1990s, I relocated full time to Florida.

You wouldn't select a surgeon, car or tool based on advertising or cold calls. Elaine Jett has to be one of the most diligent and sincere real estate agents around. Because of her tenacity, we ended up with both a very good real estate deal and a very dear friend.
Elaine's first contact with us was as an agent for a rental company we used this year for vacation. We thought the rental amount was too much for a home we liked. She went back to the owner and renegotiated the amount to our mutual satisfaction. As frequent and annual visitors to the area she suggested we look around, deals were to be had. We took her advice and did.
After vacation, I came back a month later and she took me around, not quite sure what I wanted. Well she had made a list of different types of homes, price ranges, and conditioned properties that we checked out. The properties I liked she did even more thorough researches of. Well one just happened to be a house, my wife and I had noticed prior to leaving the area the month before. We checked it out again and again. She made the deal happen, and just when we saw it all falling apart, she did it again. Thank you!

As "out of towners" her assistance was invaluable, we will be forever grateful. She was there to help us with home inspections, local tradesmen, the title company, an insurance agent, and so many local referrals. They all were reliable, reasonable, and respectable. We came to the Naples area in the fall of 2003 knowing absolutely nothing having never been there before. For tax reasons, we were looking to purchase an investment property and had heard that Naples was a nice area as well as a growth area. We first met Elaine Jett at this time of searching. We had corresponded by e-mail prior to our arrival so Elaine had a feel for our budget and the type of property we were looking for. She was so organized with folders of about a dozen places that met our criteria with information on each. She took us around and really helped us to narrow down our search with excellent information and advice on the area and the different complexes we visited. We could never have accomplished on our own what we accomplished with Elaine in the few days we were there. She really helped us to look at the pros and cons of each of the places we were interested in purchasing. Once we made the decision, she was available to walk us through purchase agreements and closing paperwork via e-mail and telephone so that we understood all the details of the paperwork. Any questions or problems we ran into, she was quick to get the answers and help resolve any difficulties. Her assistance did not end after the closing on our property. She gave us advice on renting, advertising and furnishing our new investment condominium based on her rental experience. She gave us advice on where to buy items we needed as well as what was important to have in the unit from a renter's perspective. She has kept in touch wanting to know how everything is progressing and even connected us with someone needing a rental that culminated into being one of our first rentals this season. She really has become a trusted friend whose advice we still rely on. I would highly recommend Elaine. She is smart, knowledgeable about the area as well as the opportunities that are available in the south Florida area. She is efficient and follows through with her clients even after the closing is long over.
